A Word from Dr. Prather: 

When I had my chiropractic practice I would advise patients to do the following when a migraine or “Big” headache was or had started.

  1. Drink a little caffeine to dilate the blood vessels.
  2. Place a cold pack on the back of the neck  
  3. Place a hot pack on the stomach.

Does it work every time? Probably not but for some it seems to help. Headaches are tough, I know because I used to suffer with cluster headaches when I was in my early 20’s.
